OVERHEADS AND EXPENDITURE

 

At present, as all involved are either Rotarians, or are closely connected with the Rotary movement, no disbursements for travel or overnight accommodation, etc., are sought or paid.

 

The only costs currently are for display materials and exhibition booths, when justified.  Such costs have never exceeded £900 pa and are invariably much less.

 

In the future, non-Rotarian volunteers, and maybe part time staff could be required in order to enable Global Sight Solutions to achieve its goals.  It has been agreed that whatever the circumstances these overheads will be capped at 0.4% for running costs and 3% for fundraising and awareness programmes. Such figures will be an average over a five year period.

          TO INITIALLY EQUIP AN EYE HOSPITAL, CERTAIN BASIC ITEMS ARE REQUIRED.

           DUE TO THE AVAILABILITY OF GENEROUS ROTARY FOUNDATION GRANTS

               THESE CAN BE FUNDED AT A FRACTION OF THE ACTUAL COSTS.
